Cross-country skis & skates
Cross-country skiing
Jänsmässholmens fjällhotell: Take the car up to Jänsmässholmens fjällhotell. Park just before in some of the parking pockets. Put on cross-country skis and hike in over the beautiful terrain of the mountain. Signposted snowmobile trails you can follow.
Skates
In winter you can skate, either on the hockey field at the school in Kaxås or at the school in Änge. You can also skate on the frozen water. If you choose the latter option, ask the landlord if the ice is safe.
Snowmobile
There are over 20 miles of snowmobile trails in Offerdal. Make sure to book your snowmobile in time.
Pimpla
A popular activity in Offerdal is ice fishing on many of the frozen lakes. Cozy activity for young and old. Ice drills are available to borrow at the cabins and fishing rods can be bought at the gas station for SEK 100.

Two fun tips on a gray day!
What I recommend all guests to do on a gray day. About 5min from the cottages you can rent a baking hut for only 100kr a day. There is everything you need to make flatbread. Recipes are also available on site. If you want to do it the old fashioned way, you can rent a baking cabin with a wood-fired oven as well. Really cozy to do for young and old.
